Escape to this serene retreat nestled on the bluffs above Crystal Lake.
The Hill has been a family oasis for over a century. I’m part of the fifth generation to carry on the legacy our grandparents began.
In the 1930s, my great-grandmother ran Morristow Hills Summer Camp here—a place where children escaped the city for a traditional camp experience during the Great Depression. That’s where my grandparents met.
After the camp closed, locals came for the views and stargazing, affectionately calling it “Top of the World.” That tradition faded when my family made The Hill our year-round home in 1970.
Now, for the first time in over 50 years, we’re honored to welcome guests back to this cherished place.

From radiant sunrises to starlit nights of meteor showers and northern lights, experience breathtaking views at this unforgettable escape.
